A Yorkshire Dales Easter
11th April 2007As mentioned below, my Easter weekend saw me head up Yorkshire way on the Saturday to continue my northward Pennine Way quest. On what was a sun drenched Sunday, I walked from Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Hawes while Monday saw me leave a foggy and damp Malham Tarn for a trot to Gargrave. My base for both excursions proved to be a hotel in Leeds (yes, I did push the boat out a bit but LateRooms.Com saved me some money too) while trains were instrumental in getting me to and from my walks with a little help from local bus services. I’ll add more on the walks themselves in due course.
