Travel Jottings

Celebrating the best bits and bobs to be found while exploring Europe and North America. Much is inspired by real outings, whether they were walking, cycling or photographic in nature, while virtual blundering in the name of planning them has turned up some gems too. Regardless of how they were found, I hope that they keep coming so I can continue to share new things with you here.

Washington State

Mount Baker from Chain Lakes Trail, Washington State, U.S.A.

In normal times, Seattle presents a useful entry point to the Pacific Northwest but the ongoing pandemic has meant that those of us who come from further afield are restricted until we can get past the current pandemic. Hopefully, things will open up in time so we all can explore such wonderful places as the Olympic National Park or the North Cascades. Until then, here is a list of websites that I eventually want to use in turning this into a more descriptive article. For now, we can use these for armchair planning and dreaming as we hopefully await the return of overseas adventuring.
