Årsjön, Tyresta National Park, Sodermanland, Sweden

The scene probably looks very wild with its mix of untidy afforestation and scarcely disturbed lake surface reflections, but humanity was not far away. After all, there is a camp site nearby and urban sprawl lay only miles away. Still, the illusion of wildness draws many and acts as a healthy escape from the clutter of everyday living. It certainly did that for me with fallen trees being left where they fell so long as they did not obstruct a maintained path.
