One of the things that I have noticed about Derbyshire is that they do not so much in the mould of Cheshire's Tatton Park and Lyme Park. That is not to say that public amenity areas are lacking since they have Buxton's Spring Gardens and Chatsworth. Also, both of these have something to inform Cheshire's way of doing things. Nevertheless, you do tend to find the banks of the Wye in Bakewell do get busy so it was a quite moment when I finally captured a view of bridge carrying the road to Sheffield and Chesterfield over the River Wye. No motorised traffic intrudes into the view either and that meant some waiting. The time spent was nothing like as long as I have waited for this photographic opportunity so I came away happy.
