There are some things that Bergen and Reykjavik have in common like Scandinavian heritage, a coastal location and being surrounded by uplands. Yet another thing that they share is having a fairly central lake surrounded by parkland. Both even have fountains installed in them and this is how the one in Bergen looks at nightfall of an evening in late August. It had been the day of my arrival during a 2016 trip to Norway and heavy rain showers had moved along to leave an evening for a little undisturbed exploration. Without a tripod, resting a camera on a park bench for the duration of the longer exposure.
