Helvellyn & Striding Edge, Glenridding, Cumbria, England

Here is what I believe to be a closer view of Helvellyn than I have seen from any other vantage point. At the time, I was en route to the top of St. Sunday Crag and Catsycam pops up its head to the right. The ridge leading towards Helvellyn is what I believe to be the well known Striding Edge. My preference for avoiding very airy approaches to the tops of hills may keep me away from such a route and there is plenty of choice even with excluding Swirral Edge too. This is a sighting during summer, and it gets all the more interesting when the snows of winter arrive.
