Eastern Cheshire, England

Cheshire does not concentrate all of its notable landmarks in Chester and this ramble through the part of the county that now falls under the sway of Cheshire East Council serves to prove the point. The countryside hereabouts, rolling in parts and hilly in others, hides quite a number of delights with historic houses, churches and the like to be found without searching too hard. So far, I haven't come even close to exhausting what there is on offer and even have a minor photographic project to acquire better pictures of subject already contained in this album while also finding more to be added. That isn't all because the Peak District National Park also intrudes hereabouts, so the corresponding album in the gallery has some Cheshire countryside to show you too.
