Sometimes, I have been known to go off on a mid-winter sunlit escapade to warmer places. Mallorca was the first of these and the second took me further south, to Tenerife. The fact that I took it ill in Mallorca was a warning against packing too much into such a trip, so I eased myself into the warmer temperatures on the first day and began to seek out ever hillier places on three successive days of walking. No illness struck, and I was able to take every advantage of the near constant sunshine. That included making many photos during my ramblings, and it is some of these that you find in this album.
