Switzerland

September 2015 saw me head to Geneva for a weekend that I extended with a few days of annual leave. While there, I also got to visit Bern, Zermatt and Grindelwald with only one dull day to be the exception from the sunshine that pervaded the trip. Mountain walking was enjoyed beneath the Matterhorn and the Eiger, so there is a chance that I might return, not only because of the scenery but also because of the much-needed escape it allowed me from everyday cares following the loss of my father earlier in the year.
