Red Screes & Wansfell Pike as seen from Orrest Head, Windermere, Cumbria, England

It is all too easy to get transfixed by views over Windermere when atop Orrest Head, but there are other views to enjoy and here's one. Though I have been to the top of Red Screes while on a circular day walk from Ambleside, it was tricky to imagine that it would be seen from near Windermere too and here is its rocky face rising above Wansfell Pike. Sometimes piecing together countryside that you have seen on separate walks can take some doing.
