One of the problems with urban architectural photography is that it can all loom above you, and you need to deal with restrictive spaces too. Another problem is that the camera ends up getting tilted up ever so slightly in the name of getting everything into the frame. That's guaranteed to make buildings look as if they are falling backwards. However, there are a few solutions to the dilemma and making any jaunty angles look intentional is a viable approach. That is why I avoided the conventional view of Chester's town on a November, and I was encouraged by so much being in shadow in the late afternoon winter sunshine. There are others that number among them standing further back, but you need space and foreground interest to make that work. Then, there's spending money on a shift-lens, but that's an extravagance that I cannot justify. Whatever the options might have been, I hope that you enjoy the unusual viewing angle above.
