Black Lake, Lindow Common, Wilmslow, Cheshire, England

Having somewhere nearby for a short lunchtime stroll is always a good and the importance of a brisk walk for stress reduction cannot be downplayed. A time working in Wilmslow got me exploring the delights of Lindow Common a little. Most of these attentions have centred around Black Lake, a haven for voles it seems. There's more to the amenity than the lake, but those other paths were left for other times. Was it because I don't want to get too much mud on my working clothes? That well may have been the case, but that's an excuse to come of a non-working day to savour more of what's on offer.
