While I must admit to fancying my chances with a frontal view of Tatton Hall, it took until November 2012 before I happened on a useful vantage point. By the time that I had, the sun had declined behind clouds to limit what I could make of my discovery. A few weeks later, another opportunity came my way and what you see above is the result of what I did with it. That's not to say that I am done with this though. After all, the winter afternoon light was casting such shadows everywhere that you probably wouldn't have realised that a herd of deer is grazing the tussocky grass above. Hopefully, another chance will have me here with the sun higher in the sky. You only have keep trying with these things...
