Biggin Dale, Hartington, Derbyshire, England

Biggin Dale has no stream or river running through but retains its own allure as I found while walking through it on a day walk during May 2012. The, I had started on the Manifold Trail near Waterhouses before dropping into Wolfscote Dale, where the River Dove flows. Reluctantly, I turned back towards Hartington where I started my journey home again after a day that got in more than I had expected.
