Lose Hill, Hope, Derbyshire, England

If you potter along the southern edge of Kinder Scout, this view along the Vale of Edale could greet you with Lose Hill at the right and Win Hill straight across from it at the left. Between the two, the Hope Valley railway line between Manchester, Stockport and Sheffield is to be found. On the day that I took in scenes like the above, I was walking from Hope station to Edale station and shadowing the route of the railway tighter than I had thought I was doing at one point.
