Caer Caradoc Hill, Church Stretton, Shropshire, England

For whatever reason, several of my visits to Shropshire’s hills have taken place during the month of November. For instance, the one that saw me walk to the top of Caer Caradoc was a Sunday in that very month in 2010. The start may have been a little late that day, but it took nothing from the walk that I enjoyed. Neither did any lack of sunshine earlier in the day do so since the sun itself peered through a break in the clouds later to allow me to make the above photo on the way back to Church Stretton. The circuit had been near the very civilisation from which it often felt far removed and that is what we so often seek.
