Hljómskálagarður, Reykjavík, Iceland

Many a visitor must think that Hallgrímskirkja is a cathedral, and they would be wrong for it instead is a wonderfully well-sited lofty church that dominates Reykjavík's skyline. The whole structure still looks striking with its mimicking of basalt columns and, here, we see the tower from Hljómskálagarður, the park beside Reykjavík's central lake, on a sunny summer's evening in July 2015.
