The People's Gardens, Phoenix Park, Dublin, Éire

There are times when I wonder why I did not move over more fully to digital photography earlier than I did. That came home to me time and again as I scanned old pictures without getting the crisp results to which I have become accustomed. It has not helped that I lost some photos because of a faux pas with a computer hard drive.

Despite all this, there are some old gems to be found again, and you see one of them here from the People's Gardens in Dublin's Phoenix Park. The image needed some cleaning of dust spots since the Canon DSLR that I used was so prone to such things that I eventually replaced it. In 2022, I passed this way again, but conditions did not offer what I got in 2007 when this image was made.
