On the Way to Scarlett Point, Castletown, Isle of Man

Some of my photos of the Manx coastline can be hard to locate exactly on a map and so it is with the one here. Like others, I broadly know where I was in that it was between a section of road walking and the first sighting of Castletown on a stroll there from Port Erin and port. St. Mary on Raad ny Foillan, the island's 95-mile coastal trail. It was July 2011 when I passed this way and events in my life since then have not helped the preservation of recollections. What remains though are memories of dramatically sculpted coastline like what you see above and that is why it is here.
