Not far from Lille Lungegårdsvannet, you will find Byparken with its bandstand, tram terminus and a lofty statue to Christian Michelsen, a local shipping magnate and one of the main actors in the severing of union between Norway and Sweden in 1905. That act that makes me wonder if it offers any example to Scotland during these uncertain times.
