What you see here is a view of the block-like towers of Oslo's city hall with most of the extent hidden behind vegetation. The scene was captured while pottering around Akershus Festning and the sight reminded me of Stockholm's own city hall even though that is older than this post-war construction. The choice of red brick as a building material and the severity of the geometric lines probably had me comparing the two in my mind, and I was set to revisit Stockholm during the following August too.
