While looking through other photos from a boat trip around Oslofjord, I realised that I struggled where the scenes any of them were located. The result is that I instead chose this image with a sailing boat in front of the shoreline of the Nesodden peninsula. It also illustrates that this is a busy if sheltered waterway that is plied by pleasure craft and ferries alike. Police also patrol the seaway as I found when I spotted one of their boats passing the way. Equally suitable for a busy sea thoroughfare, there are lighthouses in place too. It may appear idyllic above, but less clement weather can come as I found with a midday shore while out and about in Oslo that day.
