There was a time when what you would have found here was not the normal view of the Royal Palace in Oslo. That was because my first trip to the city only allowed for evening explorations before continuing to Bergen the next morning. A repeat visit to Oslo was in order and I ensured that I spent more time there and morning explorations allowed me to capture a view of the building's frontage that time did not allow on its predecessor. Thankfully, the weather was amenable too evening it now looks as if the cloud over the building's lightning conductor is attached to it, which it is not of course.
