My first day in Stavanger was the driest of my time around there, so it was just as well that I managed to get onto a boat trip to Lysefjorden that went as far as Preikestolen and Hengjanefossen before returning to Stavanger again. Most travellers had zoned out on the way back, but it was then that the sun really came out and that is when the above scene was captured. The above may not have been among the sights that they came to see, but I am open-minded, and it is often the less well known delights that are the most pleasing.
