Elsewhere in this album, you may have sighted either an image of Cairn Gorm in winter from Rothiemurchus or a more distant showing it and its surrounding hills in March from the side of Loch Morlich. What you see above is how things appear on the cusp of summer. There was a price to be paid for capturing such a scene: a mixture of distraction and some rushing about the place resulted in a stumble that overshadowed the rest of the day. Nevertheless, gaining photos like the one you see here slave any injuries as much as the passage of time itself.
