Carn na Drochaide from Morrone, Braemar, Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

For some reason, there is no bridge over the River Dee in the immediate vicinity of Braemar. Apart from reaching the hills, there possibly is no strong reason to do so, particularly given the girth of this watercourse and its associated vicissitudes in times of heavy weather. Nevertheless, it might make for easier access to hills like those in the photo, avoiding the need to go around by the Linn of Dee. There is much that is attractive around here.
