If I ever were to return to Braemar, I might visit some parts that I overlooked on the visit from which this photo comes. The environs of Creag Choinnich are among these, and they offer a steeping stone to other eminences like Creag nan Sgliat too. This could be a handy access point for hills on the other side of the A93 from where I was savouring views like what you see here. In this one, Braemar is not at all that obvious, though there are signs of its presence.
