Looking towards Bynack More, Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

This snow-blanketed view towards Bynack More dates from March 2010. Then, there were thoughts in my head about reaching its summit, later cast aside because of the snow cover and the restricted hours of daylight. May 2023 was when I finally reached its wind-blasted top, highlighting just how far short I had stopped to turn back all those years earlier and how much height I had in fact gained by then. The retreat left no trace on my peace of mind though, especially when I have images like this to show the scenic drama of the day.
