When I was hiking from Kingussie to Aviemore for the second time, I encountered outdoor water activities enthusiasts coming in the opposite direction while I was shadowing the River Feshie on the approach to Feshiebridge. One look at the water in the above photo should give a hint as to why they were drawn to this stretch of water. Admittedly, I am more of a landlubber with a less adrenaline seeking point of view, yet we all have to share. Anything that gets us outside has to be better than a sedentary lifestyle.
