Looking down Allt a' Bhalaich towards Rannoch Moor, Glen Coe, Lochaber, Scotland

My way to the top of Beinn a' Chrùlaiste in July 2013 commenced from Kingshouse Hotel. Not spending long on the track leading to Black Corries Lodge, I commenced my ascent to Coire Bhalach in the increasing heat. Shadowing the course of Allt a' Bhalaich made for straightforward navigation as well as offering views like the above that leads the eyes east across Rannoch Moor. The western slopes of Meall Bhalach intrude to the left, hinting that the initial approach was but a fraction of the ascent, even if that top was not my target on the day.
