Aonach Beag, Glen Nevis, Lochaber, Scotland

Aonach Beag (little ridge) is higher than Aonach Mor (big ridge). That would be ironic but for my realisation that big and little probably do not have anything to do with height in this context: Aonach Mor is certainly longer than Aonach Beag and I think that length is the origin of the naming. Maybe, it is a warning against literal translations: how about long ridge (Aonach Mor) and short ridge (Aonach Beag). To tally up as the mountain behind the shadowed Meall Cumhann, Aonach Beag would have to be a shorter ridge. For the record, I will venture that the cheeky peak poking up at the right is most likely Sgurr a' Bhuic. Sgurr Choinnich Beag is another possibility, but I reckon that it is obscured by my choice.
