While I was debating the inclusion of this image captured on the western descent from the top of Beinn a' Chrùlaiste, I ended up settling on its addition. The western Mamores are in the background, tricky though their exposure is given heat haze and the location of the sun. To the right of the shoulder of Beinn Bheag lies the trail of the West Highland Way leading to Fort William, a course I fancied taking until I reassessed the toll the day's exertions had taken on me. In the trough between my mount and its neighbour lies Lochan na Fèithe, a body of water made less significant by the depth of the green that surrounds it.
