Ben Cruachan, Argyll & Bute, Scotland

On my way along Loch Etive, I passed by the not insubstantial Ben Cruachan ridge. Head towards Taynuilt from Glen Kinglass or beyond, and you'll witness a view this. Ben Cruachan's 1126 metres (3693 feet) of height not only makes it a target for Munro baggers but also that it dominates the landscape around both Loch Etive and nearby Loch Awe. In fact, it can be seen from where Glen Etive ends and Loch Etive begins.
