Schiehallion from Bealach a' Mhaim, Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire, Scotland

Taking a long leap north not only takes us away from the Rob Roy Way but also into much wilder country than that through which it passes on its final approach to Pitlochry. To give you an idea of where we are, that peak in the background is none other than the iconic Schiehallion. At the time that I was taking in views like this, I was walking from Kinloch Rannoch to Trinafour on the first day of my summer break in Highland Perthshire.
