River Teith, Callander, Stirlingshire, Scotland

Just to prove that you don't have to travel from the centre of Callander to lose yourself in rural bliss, here's a photo taken along the banks of the River Teith not at all far from Callander's main street. This was taken the morning after a stroll along the slopes of Ben Ledi in August 2002 and that mountain does provide the backdrop to this scene. Continuing from here will bring you along the route that I followed the previous day.
