Beinn Dubhcraig & Ben Lui, Tyndrum, Stirling District, Scotland

This is perhaps yet another of those occasions when hill identification warrants closer inspection on a walk looking at another side of the hills in question. Ironically, I have seen these hills from a number of angles already but never from that near to them. Not only am I talking about sightings from Glen Falloch and Strath Fillan while following the West Highland Way, but there also has been a hike from Inverarnan to Dalmally by way of Gleann nan Caoran too. Even after all of this, there remains more exploration that could be done to examine the rocky hulks of Beinn Dubhcraig and Ben Lui. The former is the dominant hump while the latter brings up the rear while both hide other summits with Ben Oss behind Beinn Dubhcraig and Beinn a' Chleibh behind Ben Lui. On first sighting, I may not have valued these hills over their Crianlarich counterparts, but that is a point of view that is changing.
