Stob Coire na h-Eirghe, Kinlochleven, Lochaber, Scotland

The West Highland Way literally descends into Kinlochleven only for it climb out again. Either ascent is not for the unfit and descents require due care and attention. This photo was taken from a knoll not far from Beinn na Caillich and the beady eyed among you may have noticed the track that is the West Highland Way skirting the side of the hill opposite. Beyond that lurks the main feature of the picture, Stob Coire na h-Eirghe, with the main attraction of this route, Stob Bàn, lying in the distance.
