Eilean Shðophort, Ardvourlie, Harris, Western Isles, Scotland

Here is another of two views of Loch Seaforth with Eilean Shìophort rising like any other hill hereabouts. While some photographers would disagree, I find something so soothing about a mix of green and blue that it always hooks me. Maybe it is the simplicity of shades in comparison with life’s other complexities. Quieter places still draw me in times of disquiet, and I now wonder if it is more than the peace and quiet of the air that draws me or if a simpler colour palate helps too. Sometimes, one can be overstimulated, and my quiet self finds that happening to me quite a lot recently.
