Gleann Sgaladail, Ardvourlie, Harris, Western Isles, Scotland

Gleann Sgaladal is a broad-bottomed affair along which Abhainn Sgaladal travels from its source among the hills surrounding An Cliseam. The river itself flows into Loch Seaforth after a journey of around five kilometres, and I was on a longer one from Ardvourlie to Tarbert when this scene caused me to capture it photographically. What I was following was an old postal track that now is known as the Harris Walkway. More was to follow as I plied my way south.
