Loch a' Siar, Harris, Western Isles, Scotland

Sunny Scottish evenings are wonderful things and many reside in my memory. Ones in the Western Isles complemented others from Skye, along the shore of Loch Tay and many more places. The glorious landscape but it is the stunning light that really makes everything exceptional. So it was in the evening time when the above scene was captured as I continued towards Tarbert after a circuitous walk from Ardvourlie. The mix of sea and land was just perfect and all felt well in the world. Pictures like these just have so much necessity in a world that often wounds a human spirit.
