This scene may suggest otherwise but my walk around South Uist on the Christian feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was accompanied by some cloudy skies and even a spattering of rain. It was when I was returning to the main road to catch a bus to Dalabrog that this sight greeted me on the side of the minor road that I was walking. The sun was out for a few hours and I made the most of the opportunities that it brought.
