Ceapabhal, Scarasta, Harris, Western Isles, Scotland

Here is another scene not far from the famous one near Luskentyre. It was another stop on a coach journey that took me to Leverburgh. The mix of hills, sun, sand and shallow seas was a potent one, so I occupied myself making photos of what lay before me whenever I could. That approach accompanied a journey over land and sea to Lochboisdale on South Uist and the day was perfect for this. In a sense, it might have been better to use it for more pedestrian exploration since this was the best weather of my Western Isles trip but for seeing more places at their best on a longer tour.
