Parc de la Mar, Palma, Mallorca, Spain

Parc de la Mar is much visited with Palma’s cathedral and royal palace nearby. As its name suggests, the sea is not far away either though you are talking about a rocky shoreline instead of a beach. Handily for my last day on Mallorca, it also offers a place to linger in often reliably bright sunshine, but my first morning in Palma saw me traipse all about it too. The mix of medieval buildings and plenty of space for photographic composition saw to that.
