Peninsula de Formentor as seen from Port de Pollença, Mallorca, Spain

Once I laid eyes on it, this was a scene of which I wanted a photographic record. Several vantage points were used for various attempts and I have chosen to share one of them here. Though the hills are not high by any means, the buckled craggy nature of Peninsula de Formentor must be a draw for many with the well known Cap de Formentor as its crowning glory. Port de Pollença makes a good spot from which to view the northern extremities of Serra de Tramuntana but driving out to that northernmost tip must be worth the small investment of time that it involves.
