Penyal Roig, Port de Pollença, Mallorca, Spain

The winter light in Mallorca was stronger than I ever have felt at that time of year and its often contrasty nature made image creation that little bit more challenging too. Here, hills rise above coastal villas at a closer proximity than I recall for there is much of Port de Pollença that is on level ground too. This is near the northern extremity of the Serra de Tramuntana so that probably is to be expected and offers plenty of hill walking to those who fancy such things, myself included.
