Junibacken & Nordiska Museet, Djurgården, Stockholm, Sweden

The Sunday of my August 2017 trip to Sweden saw me again pottering about Stockholm on what was the third day of the trip. Photos from the morning's rambles appear elsewhere in the gallery, but this is one from the afternoon when I went around by Djurgården while en route to the city centre. Nordiska Museet is the larger and more elegant building it is home to exhibits of Scandinavian cultural history while Junibacken is somewhere for kids with its mix of theatre, storytelling and literature. This scene featuring the pair was made while strolling along the shore of nearby Ostermalm and proves and wider views are all the better for being a little further away from them.
