The shoreline may not look straight in this image, but that is reflected its curvature rather than any lapse on my part. If I had mirrorless camera with an inbuilt spirit level in its viewfinder, I could be even more certain, but that was a more recent acquisition. Technology advances and other possibilities become realisable.

This scene was an evening sighting after I began the final quieter stage of my stroll along the Somlandsleden. Urbanity was left after me and humanity largely was abandoned given that not many ventured where I was going when other activities beckoned. That gave me exactly the carefree ambience that I sought and there were more lakes to pass before I was done for the day.
