Stadhuset, Kungsholmen, Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm's city hall, the Stadhuset, is a very geometric architectural affair that was inaugurated on Midsummer's Day, 1923. It was designed by Roger Ostberg and built from eight million bricks. The tower is 160 metres high and is topped by part of the Swedish coat of arms. It remains the centre of administration for the city of Stockholm while also featuring unique art installations. The photo shows a view of the tower from the central courtyard with the tower's ornamental top clearly in view.
