The good lighting and the prettiness of the houses almost guaranteed that I capture an image like this. This also is a departure point for boats to other parts of the Stockholm archipelago and avoids lower bridges in the centre of the city. If I had been in the city in time for the season for getting to and from Ängsö National Park, then I might have departed from this quayside. My not being to do so was no blemish though since I got to witness scenes like the above and so much more.
