Dufourspitze & Liskamm, Zermatt, Valais, Switzerland

The Gornergrat observatory is to the left of the field of view of this photo but the knob of dark grey rock that is Riffelhorn sticking up in front of those whitened mountains in the background is part of the same eminence. To its left, you see the Monte Rosa massif that lies on the border with Italy with Liskamm rising over Alp Hermetje on the right. To think that I was glimpsing the border of another country from near Zermatt has surprised me and shows what a day walk around Zermatt can reveal. Can another visit show me more?
